This is a simple design with an interesting idea. A stainless steel water bottle that uses UV light to sterilize the water. The double-walled vacuum built keeps your drink hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours. The cap includes LED UV light. It’s rechargeable, comes with a proprietary designed charger.

The idea of this bottle itself is pretty interesting. Treating water with UV light is not a new procedure. They have just made it portable in the bottle cap. The question here is does it work as it claims?
The bottle is made of stainless steel. General Specs are as follows:

The build quality is nice and we have tested a unit that dropped from hand several times still working fine with a dent.
You need to remember that you need a clear water source to fill up the bottle. It kills the microscopic bacteria and viruses from transparent water. The UV from the cap won’t affect the heavy metal or other carcinogens you might found in polluted water.
The CrazyCap 2.0 UV Water Purifier bottle is not a full proof design against everything, but it is a great idea while you are traveling the mountain or camping in the jungle.
Mostly, it will save you money. You won’t need to buy plastic bottles everywhere you go. Just put tap water inside the bottle and disinfect it with a tap on the cap. You are good to drink.
The cap charger is not a universal micro USB. They have a proprietary design. Which we think is a drawback.
It’s like some apple or Xiaomi product. They have other alternatives in the market, but if you ever buy their product like watches or fitness bands then you need to use only their charger. If somehow you lost the charger finding another one is time-consuming.
Everything this bottle has to offer needs to field test before you really put it to work. It’s a good bottle with good built and insulation, but we are not 100% sure if it kills all the germs as it claims.
